What’s the meaning behind the name

“Emmerson Studios”?

My full name is Emmerson Edmo, but most people know me as Emmie,
Emmie is a nickname passed down from my great-grandmother, also named Emmy, who raised my grandma.

I also carry a traditional Shoshone name, Navitsi, given to me by my family. Each of these names reflects a part of my story and the connections that shape who I am.

When I created Emmerson Studios, I wanted it to be more than just a photography business. To me, it represents a vision, one where photography, digital media, and production come together under one roof. One day, I hope to open a physical studio, a creative hub where stories can be shared, honored, and celebrated.
